I don’t think many people in the USA knows about it, so I strongly think it’s my mission to get the truth out there, here goes. The Asylum’s movies has been accepted enthusiastically in Japan. When I say this, some people may disagree, but still I say this with absolute certainty, Japan is having a craze over The Asylum’s films.

To prove that, at the Cinema Qualite in Shinjuku, they are having a “Asylum Festival” in August. I bet Japan is the only place in the whole world that would have such a Festival. I take pride in this. At this Festival, the following 8 movies are schedules to screen. What a great line up.

・Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark
・Rise of the Zombies
・Atlantic Rim
・Sleeping Beauty
・Bermuda Tentacles

According to the source below, David Michael Latt the Partner of The Asylum have sent the following comments to the Japanese fans.

“Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to screen many Asylum films at once. The Japanese fan are one of the best in the world. If it wasn’t for you “Mega Shark” would never have been made! You should be responsible for this!”
