bet that anyone that’s been to Akihabara, Tokyo would think that “Japan is the world’s No.1 place for Cosplay!” from the number of maids and Anime character cosplayers that are there. Akihabara is such a special city. But it seems like Taiwan is the city that has the most cosplayers in a normal situation such as a fast food restaurant.
It has become a seasonal custom for the worker’s at McDonald’s to dress up during the holiday season.
The costumes varies from race queue, nurse, cheer leaders, Super Mario, to even elementary school students????
Cosplay is become familiar in Japan, but even from my Japanese prospective, the Taiwanese cosplay is surprising. It seems like it’s becoming extreme each year, I wonder what it’s going to be like in the end of 2015!
