He was born in Saitama,1971. He managed Ultralight Hiking and Professional of Long Distance Hiking, Hiker's Depot. He enjoy hiking trails all over the world, such as the John Muir Trail in Colorado. In recent years, he has been committed to packrafting as it would extend the possibilities of hiking in a proactive way.
